Agile Project Management – Chapter 2

Hello friends,

In this blog, we’ll discuss the 4 Values and 12 Principles of Agile Manifesto

The 4 Values are:

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools

Working software over comprehensive documentation

Customer collaboration over contract negotiation

Responding to change over following a change

If you read these 4 values carefully, you will realise that they all aim to deliver high quality product to the customer, in the smoothest way possible.

These eliminate the need to cut through the “red-tape” of traditional organisations ( excessive documentation and contractual blocks)

There is a high level of emphasis on respecting the team members, while ensuring that there is neither burnout nor boredom ( by maintaining a constant pace of product development )

I will mention a few of the 12 principles of Agile Manifesto here that are easily observable:

Satisfy customer through early and regular delivery

Be open to frequently changing requirements

Be receptive to changes in requirements

Motivated team members

Face to face interactions

Maintaining constant pace of work

Continuous attention to technical excellence

Simplicity

Self organising teams

Regular reflection on becoming better teams

Friend, I end this blog here. Please let me know in the comments section how you found this article.

Have a wonderful day 😊
